The Gratitude Foundation is a non-profit organization, a Section-8 Company registered under the companies act and as per the regulations laid down by the ministry of Coorporate affairs. Our Primary focus is the empowerment and rehablitation of destitude women. Women who have been widowed or abondoned by husband/family with no financial resources available to them.

Smt Geeta (name changed) age 47 years is a widow living with her 73 years old mother in Law and one daughter age 21 years who is Deaf and Dunb. Her husband died in an accident in 2019.

Ashwani (name changed) Age 26 years. She has one Daughter. Her husband left her when she was two months pregnant and he married another woman. She has no source of income and works as labour but it is not a steady job as male labour is preferred by contractors.

Reshma (name changed) age 28 years has three children. Two (twin) girls and one son. Her husband left her because he was heavy drinker and now she has no source of income.

Pushpa (name changed) is a single mother living with her son who is studying in 6th class. Her Husband died in a road Accident. Her parents as well as her in laws have abandoned her.

Smt. Sweety (name changed) Age 35 years has two daughters age 16 years & age 5 years.Her husband was a heavy drinker and he left her five years ago.She is doing Home guard duty which is 4 to 6 days in a month.or as per the requirement of the state police. This meagre income is grossly insufficient for even providing two meals a day.
